Private studios in east Tokyo

Guests and sleeping: Each unit has one double bed and one sofa bed, sleeping up to four. Two adults, or two adults with one or two children, are the comfortable fit.
Station: 7 min walk to Keisei Aoto Station
Bathing: Private bathtub, separate toilet and washing machine in each studio.
Access and room allocation: All six units share the same layout and equipment. Ground and second-floor units are finished in light wood; third-floor units are navy with a sloped ceiling. Units are assigned when you book — you cannot pick a specific room or floor — and the building has stairs and no lift.

Access and room allocation: All eight units have the same equipment. Six sleep up to four with a double bed and a sofa bed; two smaller units have a single bed. Interiors vary from pale wood to warmer tones. Units are assigned when you book — you cannot pick a specific room or floor — and the building has stairs and no lift.

Apartments around Shibuya

Guests and sleeping: Recommended for two to three guests. Up to five are accepted, using two semi-double beds and a sofa bed in the same 24.8 m² room. Four or five adults will have limited floor space, particularly with luggage.
Station: 4 min walk to Shibuya Station
Bathing: One compact all-in-one unit bathroom — tub with an overhead shower, washbasin and toilet in the same small space; There is no separate toilet; the listing itself says plainly that the unit bath is on the small side; Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face wash and make-up remover are provided, with a bath towel and a face towel per guest
Access and room allocation: The apartment is unit 306, on the 3rd floor of Lions Mansion Dogenzaka — a red-brick residential building on a Dogenzaka backstreet, with a lift from the ground-floor entrance hall. Only this one apartment is ours; the rest of the building is other people's homes, so the building asks for quiet between 21:00 and 09:00, and shoes come off at the door.

Guests and sleeping: Comfortable for two to four. Five or six can share the two double beds and double sofa bed, all in one tatami bedroom. There are no separate sleeping rooms for different families.
Station: 3 min walk to Shibuya Station
Bathing: Shower room — shower only; Separate toilet with a washlet; Separate vanity area, with the washing machine beside it
Access and room allocation: The apartment is the entire third floor of the Nishikawa Building, a small building on Dogenzaka with shops at street level. The whole floor is yours — nothing inside is shared with other guests. There is no lift: the way up from the street is two flights of stairs.

Shibuya Hotel 502 by MADO

Guests and sleeping: Comfortable for two to four. Up to five share a double bed and single bed in the Japanese-style room, plus a double sofa bed in the living room. There is one shower room and no bathtub.
Station: 3 min walk to Shinsen Station
Bathing: Shower room with a thermostatic shower — no bathtub; Separate toilet with a washlet
Access and room allocation: The apartment is unit 502 on the fifth floor of a residential condominium building in Shinsen. The building has a lift and a covered entrance hall with mailboxes. Ordinary residents live in the neighbouring flats on the same floor, so quiet hours run from 21:00 to 09:00 and parties and events are not permitted. The washing machine stands outside, on the balcony.
